Funded by Trussell, we’re working in partnership with Liberty Tea Rooms and Community Money Advice to support local people facing financial difficulties.
Our aim is to help those who access the Dacorum Foodbank, or may be at risk of needing the service, to manage their situation so they are less likely to need the Foodbank in the future.
We can provide free, in-person support throughout Dacorum to people accessing the Foodbank and similar services like community fridges.
Support includes:
- Tailored budgeting advice and support
- Checking what benefits you can access
- Life skills and money management workshops: focusing on how to maintain a tenancy, manage bills, eat healthily for less and improve wellbeing.
More in-depth debt counselling is available on a one-to-one basis for those with significant issues.
