News from DENS – May 2024

Introducing the DENS Therapy Centre

During Mental Health Awareness Week earlier this month, we shared exciting information about the development of an industry-leading Therapy Centre at DENS. This is led by our full-time Clinical Psychotherapist, who is supported by a team of Trainee Counsellors undertaking a placement as part of their final year of studies.

The new service enables more clients than ever before to access one-to-one or group therapy sessions, where they can be supported for up to one year. Watch the video to find out more.

A huge thank you to…

Ashridge House, who hosted our unforgettable 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner in February. On top of the time, resources and expertise they gave us, the venue has generously donated over £10,800. This brings the event total to around £30,000!

Join us for a delightful Afternoon Tea

We have teamed up with our good friends at Liberty Tea Rooms for a special experience, filled with savoury and sweet treats, and bottomless tea and coffee.

Not only will you enjoy a delicious spread, but you’ll be supporting two life-changing local charities, with all proceeds split between the causes.

Tim’s London Marathon achievement

Huge congratulations to our superstar runner, Tim, who completed last month’s London Marathon in support of DENS! Through months of dedicated fundraising alongside his training, Tim exceeded his target and reached a total of over £4,100.

All of us at DENS are incredibly proud of Tim’s efforts.
